Quality Systems
Hillock Anodizing, Inc.'s Quality Management System is designed to and operates within the requirements of ISO9000-2000 / AS9100A / AC7108 / AC7004 and applicable customer quality specifications.
Hillock is certified through NADCAP to AC7108 for Chemical Processing and to AC7004 for the company’s Quality System. Certifications are available upon request.
Quality Assurance
Hillock Anodizing, Inc. applies and uses the principals of Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) in our daily routine to insure the quality of the company’s output and to meet our customer’s requirements.
This is accomplished in the following ways:
- Attention to the Customers Requirements – Find out at the beginning what is required, review and approve the process and assign the plan to make it happen.
- Bring Everybody on Board - From receiving inspection, to racking, processing, and final inspection, all company personnel know their job and have been fully trained in the finishing process.
- Inspection and Measurement – Not only are inspection personnel fully trained, but also just as important for the finishing and anodizing process, is the equipment used to accurately determine the thickness of the applied coating. This is accomplished using the latest eddy current technology and digital micrometers.
- Statistical Process Control [SPC] – Through the use of SPC and PFMEA, Hillock Anodizing, Inc. is able to track trends in process analysis, testing and non-conformances.
- Continuous Process Improvement [CPI] – Aside from trend analysis, weekly meetings take place to address nonconforming product both internal and customer related.
Nadcap Accredited
Hillock Anodizing Inc. is certified by the National Aerospace & Defense Contractors Accreditation Program (NADCAP) for Sulfuric acid anodize (Type II), hard anodize (Type III), Chromic acid anodize (Type I), and chemical conversion coatings (mil-c-5541 and mil-dtl-5541 Class 3 or 1A).
